

Never before, perhaps, has the global food system been submitted to such fast and profound changes. Existing regulations are powerless to control the accelerated concentration and financialisation of businesses facilitated by the development of digitalization. This change upsets power relations, with serious yet little known consequences which, however, do not appear to be favourable to the emergence of more sustainable economic systems.
